These pickets are ideal for all your fencing needs, they have many advantages compared to generic steel star pickets. They are Australian made, and are made up from Australian plastic waste (polypropylene) consisting mainly of woven Bulka bags or animal feed bags and a mineral composite blend. These square pickets are strong and capable to drive into the ground using most mechanical picket drivers, but may need a pilot hole in tuff or rocky ground. They will never rust or rot due to their makeup and are perfect for all kinds of soil or in environments like salt lakes or sandy areas. They will also never be eaten by termites. Most types of wire are compatible with these posts, however they are perfect for electric fencing as they are fully insulated and do not need any insulators. They come pre drilled with 14 x 7mm holes like your standard star picket. They can handle up to 350 deg C in a bush fire, however we recommend to keep your fence lines maintained and looked after. Wire can be run through the picket or preferably attached to the side as pictured to the right.
